Forget salt, 3D LG Optimus-enabled 3D is official. Teaser announcement stage right now, the full reveal won't happen until 14 February at MWC when LG will take us "to the new dimension".

Last Tuesday we started bringing things together and were convinced that LG readying a 3D-capable smartphone-3D-enabled (as in Stereoscopic 3D, not that 3D graphics) from NVIDIA Tegra 2 and a 4.3 "3D mobile display quite significant and so had some other things.

Yesterday then leaked an alleged photo of Optimus 3D (from one to the left).

Today, we issue an official press release LG gives us fraudulent details about LG Optimus 3D. They promise a glasses-free 3D-LCD and HDMI and DLNA sharing of 3D content.

LG is, of course, aware that there is a lot of 3D content around, Optimus will feature a 3D dual-lens camera can capture Stereoscopic shoots and videos. There is no resolution so far, but we've heard rumors that each cam is 8 megapixels.

More details will be released at MWC and there will be a live demo and then officially become the first 3D-capable smartphone. There is also a good chance that LG will announce a 3D-capable tablet too along with LG Optimus 3D.
