Friday, February 4, 2011

From rumor to official in a snap-called Super clear LCD packaging Samsung Galaxy SL I9003. it is apparent that the screen is not the only change, there are some changes under the hood as well.

Samsung I9003 Galaxy SL has a 4-"WVGA Super clear LCD screen instead of a SuperAMOLED device (hopefully the new name will prevent confusion).

Anyway, I9003 Galaxy SL comes with Android 2.2 Froyo in box and innards are very, very similar I9000-except the CPU, which is a 1 GHz TI OMAP 3630 instead of a Hummingbird CPU. Oh, and the internal memory of 16 GB, there is no 8 GB version. We can also report that the user available RAM has gone some 138 MB up from the original Galaxy s.

I9003 is a little longer and thicker than its sibling the measures I9000 123.7 x 64.2 x 10.59 mm (vs. 9.9 mm thickness) and weighs 130 grams (12 g or more). On the upside, relating in Samsung Galaxy SL with a larger battery (1650mAh).

The extra 150mAh gives rise to an improvement of talk-time talk time is 15 hours of 2 G (7.5 hours in 3 G)-while standby has taken a hit and is now at 610 hours of 2 G and 550 hours in 3 G.

You're probably curious about how all these changes have affected the "management" of the Samsung Galaxy SL I9003. We'll just have to read our detailed auditing to Galaxy SL.
