MeeGo bug reveals a juicy Nokia device, possibly N9?

Monday, February 7, 2011

We just found an appetizing specifications list of the unannounced Nokia Meego device. Specs have been unearthed from a MeeGo bug report. Could this Nokia N9 or Nokia has developed an even meaner new device?

It seems Nokia is cooking up something big in an attempt to finally score some pressing against the contest over at Android and iOS camp.

A German website-NokiaPort. they have uncovered some-fairly detailed hardware info from a leaked bug report.

The dominant aspect of specs include a 1.6 GHz Intel CPU, 1 GB worth of RAM, Wireless N connection, a WVGA resolution screen and a FM transmitter. Can this be Nokia N9?

The Finns are still at the top, but the last couple of years we've seen them lose much of their market share for competition that Samsung, for example. It may be due to their decision to continue to support Symbian, while the rest of the producers showed Android or new pharmaceutical operating systems. MeeGo might be Nokia's last chance to regain lost ground and regain once loyal masses who now use Google-branded smartphones.

IT's been almost a year now since Nokia and Intel has decided to combine their Linux-based Maemo work and announced and Moblin's lovechild-MeeGo.

IT's also almost 6 months since N9 leaked for the first time. Perhaps it is high time that Nokia is launching a device that is running the new operating system. Oh, can't we wait this MWC to come.
